Beach front rooms, put our full family rooms next to each other as requested It was clean and spacious and a good place to just switch off from the world

It’s our third time to stay at the hotel We had an amazing stay Really good and friendly stuff especially mr hossam the receptionist made our stay at ease and amazing,he is really helpful Rooms are clean,wide and the beds are comfortable. Many pools and it’s enjoyable for the kids. We had fun and it’s definitely won’t be the last time. Highly recommended resort

I had a great stay overall. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurants were good, but not extraordinary. However, I was extremely pleased with the beach and its facilities.

- SPA and gym are terrible, ancient and unattractive facilities over there. - Massage costs 130EUR. - The Internet connection is terrible, I had to buy a sim card. This is not what I expect to see in 5* hotel.

At the activity pool, I was informed to pay extra charges 5 euro for the pool special sofa, which I didn't know about after reading all instructions carefully, it was embarrassing in front of others specially when I have my family and paid all inclusive offer

Relaxing Staycation

We were 2 families stayed in 3 rooms for 3 nights during the end of Ramadan and the beginning of Eid El Fitr. Staff are friendly and cooperative especially Mr. Mohamed from Reception and all Chefs in the restaurant. The kids enjoyed the the heated pool and playing football and volley ball at the volley ball pitch by the beach. The cariokee night was fun and entertaining. We took a long walk along the beach to the adjacent hotels in both direction at the sunset and it was really relaxing. I would like to thank the general chef and restaurant manager/in-charge for their care to prepare iftar meal at the restaurant earlier than the usual dinner time, and sohor meal delivered to our rooms daily. They really made our stay more comfortable and easy. Definitely I would like to stay here again

Although the beach is nice and sandy, the sea is not accessible as it is full of rocks and corals. The family pool should be heated too so the kids can enjoy it when weather temperature is low to avoid annoying other guests at the main heated pool who may like to relax without noise

Wonderful

All the activities are avaliable at the resort from day till night, and there is no need to go out side the resort. + the hygiene was good, and food had a lot of varieties for vegan and non vegan.

There were no slippers at the room, + they need to monitor the relax pool area and not allowing any kids to enter it and make noise

A pleasant introduction to Egypt

It's a beautiful resort set in meticulously kept grounds, it's mostly in great condition. The room was a good size and comfortable, great en suite and shower with plenty of shampoo and body wash. Friendly staff throughout the resort. Standard breakfast choices which were enough for us. Lunch and dinner choices were excellent and my picky wife was extremely impressed. We did archery for the 1st time here and are hooked, with the coach giving a great 1st lesson and slight tweaks to improve your form. Overall a great introduction to Egypt.

We found certain staff members to be quite pushy to the point of making situations uncomfortable. Trying to relax by the pool or on the beach and you've got someone from the spa or excursion staff giving you the hard sell. Needless to say when you're on an all inclusive holiday, you don't take cash to the pool, but if you say you may be interested in a spa treatment or excursion, they expect payment there and then, even expecting you to go to your room for the money. It's a large resort and that could be a 20 minute round trip. Seems needless when they could just charge it to your room. The drinks were not amazing, the Egyptian Stella is foul, Heineken was available at 3 Euros Extra. I drank mojitos for the week and they weren't bad if you tip regularly. The position of the resort in Makadi Bay meant it got a breeze of varying strengths throughout our stay, getting quite strong towards the end. Surprisingly on the beach, the wind brakes were extremely effective in blocking it out but around the pool it was still blowing drinks over and making it chilly to lay there. We would come to makadi bay again, just not this resort.

No car shades in the parking little existing ones are reserves Suggestion: as the hotel is really huge in spaces it would be nice to have the option to have a bicycle or electric scooter with extra fees to move in the hotel

It's a fun resort. But, if you're the type who cares about the small details - less than perfect

The facilities were nice and well-maintained. Several pools and gym, etc. The breakfast and dinner buffets were very good, in terms of variety and, perhaps to a lesser extent, quality. The premises are well laid out and well-maintained.

The beach was very rocky and beach shoes are highly recommended. The water is beautiful and clear but very shallow for a very long distance. The pool restaurant is reasonably priced but the food quality is very low. The service staff at the pool restaurant are generally courteous and provide good service, especially Samir and ElBadawy. Thank you to them. The main restaurant had good chefs but there were attempts at being a bit too cost-efficient, in terms of quantity of expensive components and in terms of quality of some items (e.g. cheeses). Also, some things ran out 30+ minutes early from the buffet and weren't replenished. Moreover, they started removing items from the buffet tables 10-15 minutes early. Most of the secondary service staff are not providing proper service and some don't appear to have proper training in terms of what their role is. The impression is that they are not well-paid and hence unmotivated. Examples include the reception staff who don't perform their orientation role properly and seem in a hurry to get rid of you more than anything else, the quest services person who gave us erroneous info about the archery and the bellboy who didn't just left the bag at the door, etc. It seemed to me that management was focusing on one part of the resort very well and significantly under-investing in human resources. Excellent, luxurious treatment. One of our best holidays. Thanks a lot.

Great staff, nice evening program, a lot of activities, good security, nice food.

The only minus is that we found the sea to be too shallow, but maybe that works for somebody. Also desserts could be less artificial. I would recommend to do smaller selection of sweets but better quality ingredients would be great.

Really I was very impressed and satisfied from the resort very cozy all the staff are friendly and have a big smile and very respectful even the resort was about 100% full , there were no differences between Egyptian and foreign , the food was delicious and were variety of food , my room was 3215 and the responsible of the room service Hassan was very nice , the managers of the restaurant also I was satisfied and I will come back sure
